The next Directors Election for Harris County MUD 82 will be held on May 2, 2026.

First day to file for a place on General Election Ballot: Wednesday, January 14, 2026.

Last day to file for a place on General Election Ballot: Friday, February 13, 2026 at 5:00 p.m.

Official Notice and Order Calling Election will be posted here when available.

Election Date: May 2, 2026

Early voting dates and voting locations will be posted here upon determination.

To run for election to the District’s Board of Supervisors, a person must file an application for a place on the ballot. Application for a place on The General Election Ballot can be found on the Texas Secretary of State website at: https://www.sos.state.tx.us/elections/forms/pol-sub/2-49f.pdfhttps://www.sos.state.tx.us/elections/forms/pol-sub/2-49f.pdf

To be qualified to serve as a Director, a person shall be a US citizen, at least 18 years old, a resident of the State of Texas, the owner of taxable property in the district, and be a qualified voter in the District (Texas Water Code 53.063).
